Animals

At the Piatt County Animal Shelter, pets are our first priority.  We want our animals to be comfortable and well cared for while they await placement into their forever homes.  Most of our residents came to us as homeless county strays, never having the comforts of an indoor home or family.  We take great care to work with the animals entrusted to us, to best address their individual needs, and find a family that will love their unique personalities.  It is our goal to make a perfect fit with a new family, through education, so pets do not find their way back into a shelter situation. Please consider adoption as a way to introduce a little extra love into your home.
